Western Blot (WB) of anti-RACGAP1 antibody

Western blot analysis of MGCRACGAP expression in A431 (A), Raji (B), COS7 (C) whole cell lysates.
Rabbit Anti-RACGAP1 Polyclonal Antibody – Cat# MBS8242110

Immunohistochemistry (IHC) of anti-RACGAP1 antibody

Immunohistochemical analysis of MGCRACGAP staining in human lung cancer formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.
Rabbit Anti-RACGAP1 Polyclonal Antibody, Immunohistochemistry (IHC) – Cat# MBS8242110

Immunofluorescence (IF) of anti-RACGAP1 antibody

Immunofluorescent analysis of MGCRACGAP staining in HeLa cells. Formalin-fixed cells were permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100 in TBS for 5-10 minutes and blocked with 3% BSA-PBS for 30 minutes at room temperature. Cells were probed with the primary antibody in 3% BSA-PBS and incubated overnight at 4 °C in a humidified chamber. Cells were washed with PBST and incubated with a DyLight 594-conjugated secondary antibody (red) in PBS at room temperature in the dark.

Other Notes

Small volumes of anti-RACGAP1 antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

NCBI Summary for RACGAP1

This gene encodes a GTPase-activating protein (GAP) that is a compoment of the centralspindlin complex. This protein binds activated forms of Rho GTPases and stimulates GTP hydrolysis, which results in negative regulation of Rho-mediated signals. This protein plays a regulatory role in cytokinesis, cell growth, and differentiation. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene. There is a pseudogene for this gene on chromosome 12. [provided by RefSeq, Feb 2016]
