Product Categories/Family for anti-TNFa antibody

Applications Tested/Suitable for anti-TNFa antibody
ELISA (EIA), Neutralization, Western Blot (WB)
Application Notes for anti-TNFa antibody
ELISA: To detect mTNF-alpha by direct ELISA (using 100ul/well antibody solution) a concentration of at least 0.5ug/ml of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of 0.2-0.4ng/well of recombinant mTNF-alpha.
Neutralization: To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of mTNF-alpha (0.5ng/ml), a concentration of 0.010-0.015ug/ml of this antibody is required.
WB: To detect mTNF-alpha by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant mTNFalpha is 1.5-3.0ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.
Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.

Other Notes

Small volumes of anti-TNFa antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
