Western Blot (WB) of ADGRG1 protein

Figure 1. Elisa plates were pre-coated with DYKDDDDK Tag ADGRG1-Nanodisc (0.2ug/per well). Serial diluted anti-DYKDDDDK monoclonal antibody solutions were added, washed, and incubated with secondary antibody before Elisa reading. From above data, the EC50 for anti-DYKDDDDK monoclonal antibody binding with ADGRG1-Nanodisc is 1.419ng/ml.

Other Notes

Small volumes of ADGRG1 protein vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

NCBI Summary for ADGRG1

This gene encodes a member of the G protein-coupled receptor family and regulates brain cortical patterning. The encoded protein binds specifically to transglutaminase 2, a component of tissue and tumor stroma implicated as an inhibitor of tumor progression. Mutations in this gene are associated with a brain malformation known as bilateral frontoparietal polymicrogyria. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. UniProt Comments for ADGRG1

GPR56: Could be involved in cell-cell interactions. Defects in GPR56 are the cause of bilateral frontoparietal polymicrogyria (BFPP). BFPP is characterized by disorganized cortical lamination that is most severe in frontal cortex. Belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 2 family. LN-TM7 subfamily. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
