Tissue, Array, Multi-Species, Liver Tissue Array

Tissues are snap frozen in liquid nitrogen immediately after excision, and embedded in OCT. All MyBioSource's frozen tissue products, including frozen tissue arrays, frozen tissue sections, and frozen tissue panels, can be used for both immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization. These products are ideal for rapid cellular localization of RNA and protein expression, especially for antibodies that don't recognize paraffin embedded tissue. At least one of the tissue slides from each lot was stained with H & E to ensure quality.

Frozen Tissue Array. Frozen Tissue Array contains up to brain tissue samples from up to 16 species on one slide. Species types include human, mouse, rat, monkey, rabbit, guinea pig, goat, sheep, hamster, chicken, bovine, equine, canine and porcine. Each tissue core size is 2 mm diameter. Tissue arrays are 5-8um in thickness, mounted on positively charged glass slides, and fixed by cold acetone. A reference chart shows all the tissue names and their respective position on the array.

Small volumes of Tissue, Array, Multi-Species, Liver tissue array vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
