Western Blot (WB) of anti-FOSB antibody

Western blot analysis of FOSB expression in HepG2 (A) whole cell lysates. (Predicted band size: 35 kD; Observed band size: 36 kD)
Rabbit Anti-FOSB Polyclonal Antibody – Cat# MBS8324417

Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS) of anti-FOSB antibody

Flow cytometric analysis of HepG2 cells using Anti-FOSB Antibody. The cells were fixed with 2% paraformaldehyde (10 min) and then permeabilized with 90% methanol for 10 min. The cells were incubated in 2% bovine serum albumin to block non-specific protein-protein interactions followed by the antibody at 37 °C for 60 min. The secondary antibody Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H&L) - AF488 was incubated at 37 °C for 40 min. Isotype control antibody (blue line) was used under the same condition.

NCBI Summary for FOSB

The Fos gene family consists of 4 members: FOS, FOSB, FOSL1, and FOSL2. These genes encode leucine zipper proteins that can dimerize with proteins of the JUN family, thereby forming the transcription factor complex AP-1. As such, the FOS proteins have been implicated as regulators of cell proliferation, differentiation, and transformation. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
