Application Notes for anti-CCL7 antibody
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
Dilution: ELISA: To detect mMCP-3 by direct ELISA (using 100ul/well antibody solution) this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.15-0.30ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of at least 0.2ng/well of recombinant mMCP-3.
Western Blot: To detect mMCP-3 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant mMCP-3 is 1.5-3.0ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Other Notes

Small volumes of anti-CCL7 antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

NCBI Summary for CCL7

This gene encodes monocyte chemotactic protein 3, a secreted chemokine which attracts macrophages during inflammation and metastasis. It is a member of the C-C subfamily of chemokines which are characterized by having two adjacent cysteine residues. The protein is an in vivo substrate of matrix metalloproteinase 2, an enzyme which degrades components of the extracellular matrix. This gene is part of a cluster of C-C chemokine family members on chromosome 17q. [provided by RefSeq]
